Fall Fest this year was a big success!
First of all, I would like to thank all the parent volunteers who helped out with the activities and participated in the festivities. This day wouldn’t be possible without all their help!
Children and adults alike had a fantastic time! All the children were very excited to show each other their costumes and to show their “Five Little Pumpkin” performance to their parents. They also loved the magnet and frame crafts they made. There were great souvenirs to bring home. New this year was the Obstacle Course which everybody absolutely enjoyed. Some children found the course a little challenging to follow but all of them finished it with big smiles. The smiles didn’t end there because we all had a great time during the Scarecrow Race. The Scarecrow Dads were great sports and participated in the race for good fun. The highlight of the morning was former primary teacher, Mrs. Cathy Waurick, hilarious musical performance. Her music and puppets brought the house down. Many who remember her in class miss her a lot!
With the fun we all had this year, the children can’t wait for next year’s Fall Fest.
