The Elementary students embarked on a camping trip to Camp Dark Waters in Medford, New Jersey last Wednesday through Friday. This excursion was really fun for all of the students! Many of them talked about their favorite parts being some of the activities we participated in, while others enjoyed the free time playing games with friends or spending time with camp counselors. Some of the activities the students participated in include archery, a bug hunt, canoeing, team building exercises, survival skills including fire building, making dream catchers, inventing a beast, playing soccer, orienteering, and more! In these photographs you can see the different activities the students were participating in, which were expertly led by the camp counselors. The students also participated in crew duties in the kitchen before and after each meal, and the food was delicious! Overall it was a wonderful trip! Currently the students are working on a thank you note to send to the camp.
